Michael Cohen, Redemption story

Today many Americans like myself witnessed the testimony of mr Michael Cohen. It was an interesting testimony, not so far as what Cohen revealed but more in how congress questioned him. Even in this shameful state, Mr. Cohen is still of massive interest to everyone, as most of congress wanted to label him as a liar, undermine his moral character, and continually express the gravity of his mistakes. Congress seemed split into two parts, the Dems who were actually looking for useful information and the GOP who wanted to point out Michael Cohen's character flaws, over and over and over again. I see the importance in this to a degree, but I don't find it to be very helpful during a testimony, but then again, most of those GOP guys seem pretty spineless so they're most likely doing this to try and throw a smoke bomb to divert attention away from anything of use that Cohen could let us learn about the Trump administration. If you don't know what I'm talking about, a similar perspective to the GOP is seen in this article,   except here they are more worried that client/attorney relations will deteriorate due to the testimony by Cohen. This is just downright absurd, as in no way can Cohen's case be applicable to the general...

So what was revealed? Well we learned that non-disclosure agreements (NDA's) were frequently used by the president and still are presently. We learned that Trump and his cronies used fake documents to take out a bank loan to use for a bet on the Buffalo Bills. We learned of million dollar and billion dollar agreements with non-American entities like the bank in Kazakhstan and the Russian mobsters at Bayrock. And we learned that congress expects Cohen to take the fall for his beloved President, stay silent, and take the blame for all that is wrong with our circle of sin in the white house. I think anyone watching the testimony who anything above an 80 IQ will notice how overplayed and over defensive the GOP look here... Although they will still claim that Cohen's actions were only for his own gain. Obviously, they were not, as the guy was the one saving Trumps ass for the last decade.

I have to say though, Cohen is a real redemption story. His calmness is not only cause of a natural demeanor, it is because his mind is set on presenting the truths he never could have if he continued being one of Trumps henchmen. Now though, he has the opportunity to do this and he is using it with all his might before he is sent to prison, separated from his family. I don't know what to do with the knowledge he provided us with other than write up a blog post about it but I hope to God that Mueller is trimming the fat on his case because we can't let spineless idiots govern us any longer. America is a place of real value and these guys are tossing it into the trash just so they can enjoy a nice stay at a fancy trump hotel.
