Sudden Realization of meaning

My life for a longtime has felt a void. My last couple years of college were met with enthusiasm but also a despair for my life. This I attribute to the general anxiety of youth and the neglect I faced from my fellow humans in the United States of America. This anxiety is normal and manifests within the youth alongside the many dreams of long summers under shining stars and dancing along beaches. But this neglect, this is a darker force that I can not understand to be reasonable. Aren't we as humans naturally posed to not neglect our youth, and that we should foster in them not empty coddling but motivation? Now though, the youth of our nation are not allowed the time to express thoughts or ideas, given space to examine their surroundings, and are only given the simple right that they can achieve wealth no matter their background. This though omits community and love for your fellow neighbor, and brotherhood outside of the police and the military. Scientists are more focused on finding students who work like factory workers for them, instead of those who can shake the habitual (and not solely for the sake of being contrarian).

There has been a reduction in a belief of this human ability towards ingenuity. We have no care for poetry or personal writings anymore, because we do not understand English unless used without personal style and flair. And our economy can't support our artists anymore as the money is not used for a common-wealth except a common-wealth of those contained within large mega-corporations. Yes, it seems culture and society are dying alongside one another , contained within these brutalist architectural feats, stagnated by the function of life itself and forgetting the faith of humanities virtuous intellect.

But today I had a spontaneous realization of meaning derived not from reason but emotion. I confronted my inability to neglect those that suffer and my love of human imagination, which I believe to be the best quality of the human mind. Imagination and faith as opposed to neglect is what ultimately saves us all, reason is then applied to an objective and society can make a steps towards a more peaceful globe. I pray for a safe and secure future where we all can support our families and continue this beautiful journey called life. This I believe to be important in our age of transition but if we can stay civil about these decisions we must make, then all our past histories work will not be for nothing.
